Lee Roy Vaughn age 85 of Guin, AL passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin, AL.

Born January 23, 1929 in Marion County, AL, he is the son of the late Milligan and Arie Etta Blake Vaughn and the husband of Virginia Colburn Vaughn. He had lived in Guin most of his life and was the Owner of Vaughn's Used Cars before retiring. He had also served in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Vaughn of Guin, AL, 3 Daughters, Glenda Vaughn, and Dianne (Donnie) Pearson all of Cullman, AL and Gloria Butler of Columbus, MS, a son, Randall (Kim) Vaughn of Guin, AL, 6 Grandchildren, Darian Pearson, Dawn Pearson Phillips, Danielle Pearson, Melanie Butler, Tony Butler and Jeremy Vaughn, and 6 Great Grandchildren, Mersadie Jane Pearson, Jake Phillips, Blake Phillips, Drake Phillips, Alexander Johnson and Mya Taylor

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Vaughn, 3 Sisters, Emma Gene Hodges, Renae Morrow and Lucille Gist and 5 Brothers, David T., Joy, Alvis, Alvin and Earnest Vaughn.

Services held Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Sonny Cummins and Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
